Croatia has been the country closest to my heart for as long as I can remember. The Adriatic Sea and its islands are, to me, the very definition of perfection. I’m drawn to the clarity of the sea – along the Dalmatian coast, it feels like something beyond water altogether. I admire the elegance of the Austro-Hungarian villas in Rijeka and Opatija, the calm beauty of the national parks, and the lively spirit of Zagreb.
I grew up in Hungary close to the border with Croatia and have many happy childhood memories growing up spending holidays on the Croatian coast. During the season I live in Split, and I would love to share my thoughts and advice in creating this experience with you.

What Do You Love Most About Croatia?
The country’s food is simply captivating, offering an incredible variety that’s hard to resist. From Slavonian kulen to Istrian truffles, and from rich pašticada to traditional peka, every region brings something special. Then there are the wines: the crisp Pošip, the bold Dingač, and the playful sweetness of Teranino.
What’s One Thing You Always Recommend Clients Try When Visiting Croatia?
For wine lovers, I always recommend wine tastings, as Croatian wines are truly unique. For family holidays or team-building activities, rafting on the River Cetina or ziplining over Omiš are fantastic options. Food lovers, meanwhile, can indulge in the rich and varied cuisine of the Istrian Peninsula.
What's Your Most Memorable Trip?
My most memorable trips were in China and in Sri Lanka as I love to learn about different cultures. My favorite country in the world is Bosnia & Herzegovina, every time I travel there it is magical. I love the National Parks, architecture, food and brave history of the country. My favourite cities are Mostar and Sarajevo.
