Life Onboard

Staterooms
The MV Katarina ensures a peaceful night’s rest in her 19 spacious staterooms that are all soundproofed and feature individually controlled air conditioning along with a ventilation system to provide continuous fresh air. Each stateroom has a private bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and hairdryer as well as double or twin beds, a refrigerator, safe, satellite TV and the latest safety gear like lifejackets, a smoke detector, and fire alarm. Rooms on the main deck include windows while others feature portholes for enjoying the passing views.

Facilities & Public Areas
Outside of the staterooms, passengers will find multiple facilities and common spaces to take advantage of. On those frequent sunny days, the top deck with a sun terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the views while sunbathing on a luxurious lounger, or soak in the Jacuzzi. If inclement weather does hit, there’s a covered outdoor lounge with sofas to unwind in as well as an indoor salon/restaurant with a bar area and big-screen TV. To easily access the crystal-clear blue waters of the Adriatic during swim stops, there’s a swimming platform with ladders at the rear of the ship.

Dining
Whether you’re off or on the ship, you’ll enjoy Croatia’s famously delicious cuisine. Onboard, meals are served on a half-board basis, all freshly prepared using local produce, including a breakfast buffet, multicourse set lunches and some dinners as per the specific itinerary. Other dinners can be enjoyed at local eateries, providing the chance to sample traditional Dalmatian fare. Free fresh fruit, filtered water, tea and coffee are available each day of the cruise and a selection of wine, beer, spirits and sodas are available at the bar for purchase, payable at the end of the cruise.
