For me first, it is the people. Croatians are very welcoming and more than happy to help in any circumstance. Thereafter it is the natural beauty of the country which is complimented by the red-top roofs as they sit next to the very green vegetation.

What is Your Favourite Hotel in Croatia?

It has to be the 5* Hotel More which is built into the hillside overlooking Lapad Bay. This hotel has 47 rooms, a lovely sea view terrace restaurant where breakfast is served, a mini wellness center and a small outdoor pool. It also has a famous cave bar.

What’s One Thing You Always Recommend Clients Try When Visiting Croatia?

One thing I always recommend clients try when visiting Croatia is to explore its inner, less touristy regions, particularly the Istrian peninsula and inland Dalmatia. While cities like Dubrovnik and Split get the most attention, Croatia’s countryside offers a truly unique and authentic experience.

For example, Istria is often compared to Tuscany due to its rolling hills, charming medieval hilltop towns like Motovun and Grožnjan, and a vibrant food scene centered around truffles, olive oil, and wine. Many visitors are surprised by the quality of local wine in regions like Pelješac or Hvar, which often rivals some of Europe’s more famous wine regions.

What's Your Most Memorable Trip?

Jamaica, the epitome of the pure laid-back lifestyle. The people are so entertaining, positive, and welcoming with a laid back, calming demeanor. I had stayed in Negril, which is in the western part of Jamaica, for a friend’s wedding. Negril’s famous 7-mile Beach is one of the finest l have visited. The famous Rick’s cafe is very much worth a visit, not only for the amazing sunset but also for the exhilarating cliff jumping (certainly not for the faint-hearted).
