Arrive into Zagreb and private transfer will bring you to your hotel. Get settled in, relax and then join an expert guide for a tour of this 3,000-year-old city in the afternoon. You’ll be able to walk the cobbled streets, filled with history and an impressive mix of classical Viennese secessionist architecture and Austro-Hungarian heritage. In the center of the ancient Upper Town is the iconic 13th-century St. Mark’s Church with its colorfully tiled roof and the gothic, twin-spired Zagreb Cathedral. Day 2 Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes

This morning you’ll meet a local guide for a comprehensive tour of the Croatian capital. You’ll take in the most significant sights of the capital including Zagreb Cathedral, Dolac farmer’s market, the Houses of Parliament, St. Mark’s Church and many more. During the tour you will break at “La Struk” to sample Croatia’s most well-known delicacy, Strukli. This afternoon your driver will meet up with you to transfer you to the famous Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia’s top attractions. This UNESCO-listed site is considered one of the world’s most enchanting natural wonders with 16 lakes in hues that range from brilliant blue to emerald green that has been flowing over the chalk and limestone for thousands of years.

After a morning of self guided exploration of  Plitvice Lakes National Park, you’ll journey by private transfer to the ancient city of Split, a trip that will bring you through more than 1,700 years of history. Day 4 Omis

Today you will transfer to the ship waiting in Omis Marina. Check-in is from 2 pm, when the crew will assist you and show you around the vessel. Enjoy time to settle in and unwind in your cabin before a meeting with a welcome drink and safety briefing. The Welcome Dinner will be held on board this evening, but you’ll have free time to explore Omis, perhaps taking in the spectacular view from Starigrad Fortress.

Day 5 Trogir or Split

This morning, the ship sets sail for Trogir, anchoring in a tranquil bay along the way for your first swim stop. Once in Trogir’s harbor, you can choose from two tours: stay here and explore the UNESCO-listed Old Town with our local guide, wandering the narrow streets to admire the well-preserved Romanesque-Gothic architecture. Or, join those who want to tour Split’s Old Town by hopping on the bus to the ancient city. A local guide will reveal intriguing highlights like Diocletian’s Palace with its well-preserved Roman buildings, including the 4th-century St. Dominus Cathedral. Dinner can be enjoyed independently in Trogir or Split.

Today we set off from Trogir towards the peaceful island of Vis, famed for its seclusion and isolation. After the refreshing swim stop, we will arrive to Vis in the mid-afternoon. Vis was once a strategic Yugoslav naval base and off limits to visitors. Due to the island’s seclusion and isolation, Vis has retained a very unique charm that typifies ‘the Mediterranean as it once was’. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure exploring picturesque towns on the island, with its charming seafront cafes and labyrinth of quaint streets.

Day 7 Blue Cave & Hvar

We have an early start this morning as we set off from Vis and head to the Island of Bisevo, home to the magical Blue Cave. Enjoy an optional guided tour inside this beautiful natural phenomenon and marvel at the beautiful colours which will leave you mesmerized. (Please note that entry to the Blue Cave is subject to weather and sea conditions and therefore the entry fee of EUR30pp is payable on the day). We then sail on to the island of Hvar. To get to Hvar we sail through the beautiful Pakleni island archipelago which is known for its stunning secluded bays with crystal clear water. We will enjoy a swim stop before arriving on Hvar, with an exciting Hvar island tour planned. The first stop is an opportunity for you to sample some locally produced wines at a very sought after family winery. We then continue on to the cosmopolitan town of Hvar, where you will have free time to explore this picturesque town at your leisure.

Today we sail on to the island of Korcula, which is best known as the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Relax, enjoy the extended swim stop and admire the stunning secluded bays on route. This afternoon you will arrive on the island, and you will have a guided walking tour of the charming Old Town with an expert local guide. The picturesque, fortified town, ruled by Venetians in the past, has an ingenious layout in the shape of a fishbone. You will get to learn more about why the town was built this way and explore its beautiful medieval streets.

We set sail for the tranquil and stunning Mljet National Park. On arrival, enjoy free time at leisure to stroll to the famous salt lakes, situated in the heart of the park. After lunch, we sail on to the charming village of Slano, situated on the mainland. It is a peaceful traditional fishermen’s village and the entrance point to Ston, another small fortified village that is famous for its oysters. Visit an oyster farm, where you will have the opportunity to sample delicious fresh oysters and mussels. The evening is reserved for the Captain’s Dinner on board, with live music and entertainment.

On the last day of our deluxe Croatian cruise, we make an early departure to Dubrovnik. The ancient city boasts many historical buildings that date back to the time of the old Dubrovnik Republic. We take a cruise alongside the walls of the old Dubrovnik city center. Join our guided walking tour of this magnificent city. With free time afterward, perhaps walk atop the city walls, viewing the red-tiled rooftops on one side, the sea and nearby islands on the other, followed by a celebratory dinner in a sea-view restaurant.
