Zagreb (Arrival with afternoon at your leisure)
Your exciting adventure begins with your arrival to Zagreb’s international airport. You’ll be welcomed by your private driver for transfer to your hotel in the capital city. Take time to relax and refresh before getting a view over the city by riding the cable car to the Upper Town in the medieval district. Ease any jet lag with a walk through the narrow streets lined with 17th– and 18th-century buildings, with some of the city’s top cafes, bars, and restaurants here too.
Zagreb (City tour with cheese tasting)
A sightseeing tour with our local guide will bring you to see highlights like Croatia’s tallest cathedral and Zagreb’s symbol, the gothic-style Zagreb Cathedral with its two soaring twin spires, 13th-century St. Mark’s Church and its famously colorful room, the House of Parliament and the Croatian National Theater. Take a walk through Dolac Market which offers a wide range of local products like fruits and vegetables, meats and multiple rows of fresh regional cheeses, with a cheese tasting included.
Opatija (Private transfer to Opatija)
Moving on from Zagreb, your private driver will transfer you to Opatija on the Istrian peninsula. On arrival in Opatija, check into your hotel and then enjoy the afternoon exploring this beautiful Austro-Hungarian themed town. Unlike the medieval style towns you will see on the rest of your trip, the architecture in Opatija is unique in Croatia. A must do activity is to take a stroll down the towns coastal walking path called the Lungomare and visit Angiolina Gardens.
Opatija (Private Taste of Istria tour)
Look forward to a flavorful private tour that begins with a visit to romantic Rovinj, including the art galleries along Grisia street. Afterward you’ll enjoy a wine tasting alongside local bites at a winery on your way to hilltop Motovun. One of the most picturesque villages in Istria, here you’ll enjoy a tasting and presentation of various truffle products. Conclude the excursion in the world’s smallest town, Hum, where you’ll enjoy more sightseeing and local product tastings before returning to Opatija.
Split (Transfer to Split, self-guided tour Plitvice Lakes National Park en-route)
Your private driver will bring you to Plitvice Lakes National Park this morning where you’ll embark on a self-guided tour. The park is famous for its 16 stunning interconnected lakes in brilliant shades of greens and blues, along with nearly 100 waterfalls. Explore the network of scenic paths that meander through lush greenery, with the lakes divided between the Upper and Lower Lakes sections. After exploring the stunning lakes, your driver will continue the journey on to Split, with a late afternoon arrival.
Split (Private tour of Split and Trogir)
This morning you’ll learn about Split’s fascinating history on a guided tour of the historic center, including Diocletian’s Palace. As you marvel at the magnificent buildings and monuments with influences by the Greeks, Romans and Venetians, you’ll feel as if you’re walking back through time. Afterward, head to nearby Trogir, home to the remarkably well-preserved 15th-century Kamerlengo Castle and multiple impressive Romanesque, gothic, Renaissance and baroque structures, including the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, one of Croatia’s finest examples of sacral architecture.
Hvar (Transfer to Hvar Island)
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before being transferred to sunny Hvar, one of Croatia’s most popular islands drawing international jetsetters from across the globe to enjoy its beautiful beaches, stunning old town and world-class restaurants. Upon your arrival, take time to settle into your accommodation and then perhaps enjoy a preview on your own by heading to the main square for people watching or climbing to the 16th-century fortress for a glorious view.
Hvar (Pakleni Islands speedboat tour)
Embark on a full day speed boat trip to visit the islands that lie just off Hvar’s southwest coast. The Pakleni archipelago is made up of emerald-covered gems surrounded by clear aquamarine waters with hidden coves and beaches that are ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Get your camera ready for a picture-perfect shot of Hvar as you sail away. Hvar (Day of leisure)

This evening we suggest heading into the old town in search for that perfect spot among the many options to enjoy a meal featuring high-quality seasonal ingredients under a starlit sky.
Dubrovnik (Dubrovnik Old City tour + home-hosted dinner)
You’ll get an in-depth look at Dubrovnik’s medieval walled Old City on a walking tour with our local guide this morning. Learn about its its destruction during the Homeland War, while seeing firsthand how it was so beautifully rebuilt. Marvel at historic sites that include grapevines believed to be over a century old, Sponza and Rector’s palaces, and Church of St Blaise.
This evening, join a local family for a home-hosted dinner in their countryside home, getting a glimpse of daily life while enjoying delicious local dishes.
Dubrovnik (Private Montenegro Tour with Traditional Lunch)
Your private driver/guide will bring you to Croatia’s eastern neighbor, Montenegro. In Kotor, meet up with a local guide for a one-hour tour of the fortified town that sits along sapphire Kotor Bay, surrounded by dramatic fjord-like mountains. Stroll through the squares and narrow streets to visit Kotor Cathedral and other Romanesque churches before catching a boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks, an islet made from sunken ships and local rock.
