Croatia Product Manager & Cruise Director
I was born in Ljubljana, the capital of neighboring Slovenia, but my home town is Zagreb where I lived all my life. I studied Art history and linguistics but ended up working in a soccer/football club as my first real job. Not much to do with Monet, right. I loved that job, actually. It was dynamic, exciting, always something new happening. But life happens, things change and I sometimes feel like destiny led me to tourism, where I found my true self.
I started out as a tour leader for Croatian groups traveling abroad, my first destination being Paris, France, my true first and forever love. From then on, destinations were multiplying, going all the way to Asia and South America. I also worked as a local tour guide for Zagreb and Zadar and as a project manager for the European market in the biggest Croatian travel agency called Atlas. All that experience led me to what I do now, Regional Product Manager and Cruise Director for Unforgettable Travel Company. My biggest love in life is my dog Turbo (and yes, nomen est omen in his case).

Where Are Your Favourite Places to Visit in Croatia?
My favourite place in Croatia has to be Zadar, a beautiful coastal town in Dalmatia on the Adriatic Sea, set beneath the Velebit mountains. My father was born and raised in a small town just 15 minutes away, so we spent many summers there growing up. It’s a place that means a lot to me, especially because much of my dad’s family still lives there.
What Do You Love Most About Croatia?
Alongside Zadar, I also love the atmosphere of Split and the magic of the island of Vis. Each place has its own character, from historic coastal towns to peaceful island life, and they all hold wonderful memories for me.
What's Your Most Memorable Trip?
I’ve traveled to so many places in the world but mostly leading the way to a group of 30 to 40 people. That’s why my most memorable trip is actually the one I did privately, to the Caribbean island of St. Maarten. The lush nature, beautiful sandy beaches, summer breeze in your hair, Caribbean turquoise sea at your feet. But the most memorable part by far is standing right by the Princess Juliana airport, which is located just a few feet from Maho Beach, with giant planes going straight above your head and landing mere steps away from you. I would love to go back to that place someday.

Where Are Your Planning to Travel Next?
My two biggest wishes are Japan and Alaska. Both have been on my bucket list for years now and I hope I will get to see at least one in the next year or two.

Enjoy the great food and wine we have, swim in the clear blue sea, try our most favorite activity- drinking coffee and chatting for hours on end.
