Famous for its shellfish, said to be some of the world’s tastiest, you’ll hop in a small boat to reach the heart of the estuary, sampling fresh oysters straight from the water (with a squeeze of lemon), complemented by the area’s high-quality wine. With the Welcome Dinner held on board this evening, you’ll return in time to prepare.

Provided weather and sea conditions allow, you can take advantage of an optional tour of Bisevo Island’s Blue Cave. Arriving at an optimal time, you’ll have the best chance to witness the unique natural phenomenon that occurs. When sunlight beams through a crack in the cave’s roof, the reflection off white limestone at the bottom illuminates the interior in a blue glow. (Please note that entry to the Blue Cave is subject to weather and sea conditions and therefore the entry fee of EUR30pp is payable on the day). Stop for a short swim before reaching Vis, called the “Mediterranean as it once was,” having remained largely undeveloped for tourism. Built soon after it was chosen as his retirement site in the late 3rd century AD, the vast palace complex is home to some of the most well-preserved Roman architecture in the world.
