I was born and raised in Split, Croatia, where I earned a degree in Economics with a focus on Trade and Tourism from the University of Split. My passion for travel and sharing the beauty of Croatia led me to a career as a Travel Coordinator with Unforgettable Croatia.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through soccer, working out, and living a healthy lifestyle. I’m also a devoted fan of my local soccer club and spend many weekends cheering them on at the stadium. When I’m not playing or watching sports, I like catching up with friends at cozy coffee shops or relaxing with a good comic book.
While I haven’t traveled outside of Europe yet, I’ve been fortunate to explore many countries across the continent. My next adventure is Scotland, and I’m always looking forward to discovering new destinations.

What Are Your Favorite Places to Visit in Croatia?
If I need to recommend destinations to tourists, it depends on what kind of vacation a tourist would want. Since Croatia attracts most of the tourists during the summer season preferring to spend their vacation enjoying the most beautiful Adriatic sea, beautiful beaches and valleys of Croatia I would never skip the Island of Hvar and Pag. Other than that, the towns of Brela and Primošten are also perfect summer destinations I enjoy going to.
Besides the seaside towns, I enjoy exploring historical sites and spending weekends in the countryside due to its preserved nature that provides you to wander around the hiking trails. Speaking of such places, my favourite ones to visit would be Zadar, Trogir and the Pula amphitheatre as well as the outstanding craggy villages of Dalmatian hinterland where my parents are from.
What's Your Most Memorable Trip?
I spent my student exchange in Italy where I lived for four months and I had a chance to travel around Italy and experience it as a local and not just as a foreigner aka tourist being there just for a few days and then moving on to the other destination. It`s hard to choose a city I liked the most, but you can never go wrong with Rome, Florence and the magical region of Tuscany.
I met many kind people there that I`m still in touch with, so making new friendships and learning a new language at the same time is what made this adventure even more special.

Mislav's Top Tips
A pro tip of mine would be: Croatia is so much more than just beautiful beaches and sunny weather. Don’t just visit commercial sites and popular destinations. To experience Croatia in the most unique way possible, you have to become a local for a day yourself. True hidden gems of Croatia are rural areas, family-owned restaurants and attractions and the way they provide services to their beloved guests.
Being hosted by the locals and living the way they live at least for a few days will make you fall in love with the Croatian lifestyle – a true mix of kindness, spite, hard-work and love for their families and homeland. Let me try to explain it with an example – don’t just try Croatian wine, fish or olive oil but be the one to contribute to their production with your host as a supervisor and that is what will truly be the adventure that you will never forget. The gratitude and hospitality you will experience from your host will make you come back one day and Croatia will receive you with hands wide open.
