Anamarija Faldic
Croatia Travel Coordinator
I was born and raised in Stari Grad on the island of Hvar and now based in Split, where I completed my Master’s degree in Maritime Management at the Faculty of Maritime Studies. I work as a Travel Coordinator, a role that perfectly blends my love for the sea and coastline with my background in nautical tourism. I enjoy exploring nature and soaking up the sun with my dog, and when the weather turns, I like experimenting with new recipes and enjoying a good glass of wine.

What Are Your Favorite Places to Visit in Croatia?
One of my absolute favorite places is the Blue Cave on the island of Biševo. The way the sunlight reflects off the sea and fills the cave with glowing blue light is truly magical. Every visit feels like stepping into another world, it is peaceful and surreal.

What's Your Most Memorable Trip?
My most memorable trip was to Amsterdam, a city full of charm, history, and creativity. I loved exploring its canals, unique architecture, and vibrant neighborhoods. The atmosphere was inspiring, and it left me with unforgettable memories.

Anamarija's Top Tips
Discover the coastline by boat – it’s the best way to experience the true beauty of the Adriatic. Croatia is full of hidden gems, so don’t be afraid to go off the beaten path. Visit family-run rural estates and local producers to taste authentic homemade products, learn about traditional crafts, and support sustainable tourism. And most importantly, embrace the Dalmatian pomalo spirit — slow down, take it easy, and enjoy every moment.
