Day 1 – VENICE (Private guided tour of the city – gondola ride)
Your honeymoon adventure starts in one of the world’s most romantic cities. Venice is the Italian home of canals, gondolas, great food, romance and majestic architecture. On arrival at your luxury hotel, join our private guided walking tour of the heart of the iconic water city. Visit the beautiful Palazzo Ducale Palace, step into the famous Piazza San Marco, and walk across the oldest bridge on the canal, the Ponte Rialto. End your perfect day with a relaxing gondola ride on the grand canals. The sights of the captivating city are yours to enjoy from the perspective of the water.
Day 2 – VENICE (Private transfer from Venice to Rovinj – explore the medieval town)
Explore the fabulous floating city of Venice in your own time or join our optional guided tour of Murano Island. The island is famous for its history of artisan glass making. The tour includes a visit to the Museum of Glass and to the Duomo di Murano Santa Maria e Donato church, to see and admire the 12th century Byzantine mosaic pavement and relics. At the Glass Factory, you can observe how the unique hand-blown glass is made and purchase beautiful souvenirs.
Day 3 – ROVINJ (Private transfer from Venice to Rovinj – explore the medieval town)
It might be hard to leave the magic and allure of Venice behind, but the charming Croatian seaside island town of Rovinj has plenty of delightful attractions to tempt you. On arrival in the fishing port in the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the quaint mismatched tangle of cobbled streets, and admire the rustic facades dotted around the city at your own pace. Explore the old medieval town and visit the three well preserved historic attractions of the Gate of St. Benedict, the Portica, the Gate of the Holy Church, and the Venetian style hilltop Church of St. Euphemia.
Day 4 – ROVINJ (Truffle hunting in Motovun Forest – explore Istria)
Wake up to the pleasant surroundings of Rovinj, before taking a journey to Motovun Forest for an exciting truffle hunting experience. One of the region’s most lucrative and desirable delicacies, truffles can be found in the valleys and hills of the breathtaking forest region, with the help of a guide. Explore the ancient tucked-away, walled hilltop town of Motovun and learn about its history. Often compared to Tuscany, Motovun boasts stunning natural landscapes that overlook the Mirna River valley. Relax and enjoy a scenic drive through the lush rural countryside of Istria, with a final stop at a small family winery to sample a selection of local wines before returning to the coastal town of Rovinj.
Day 5 – PLITVICE LAKES (Private transfer to the National Park – lakes & waterfalls)
Depart Rovinj to witness the beauty of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. One of Croatia’s most impressive natural wonders, the UNESCO World Heritage Site is the most-photographed place in the country, and it’s easy to see why. On arrival at Plitvice Hotel you have the rest of the day to discover the park at your leisure. Walk across the footpaths while gazing out over the lakes and cascading waterfalls. Hop on the boat to skim across the lakes or ride the train through the region. You’ll have no problem discovering the ultimate photo opportunity spot in the breathtaking scenic landscape.

DAY 6 – SPLIT (Private transfer to Split – winery – private guided tour of the old town & Diocletian’s Palace)
We leave Plitvice Lakes for the historic city of Split. On arrival in Split, join our private guided tour of the city’s Old Town and the iconic UNESCO-listed landmark attraction of Diocletian’s Palace. The former retirement home of the Roman emperor is one of the best-preserved Roman palaces in the world. Admire its many treasures, before climbing to the top of the St. Domnius church bell tower to enjoy spectacular views of the city and its beautiful surrounding islands.
Day 7 – SPLIT (Visit Klis Fortress – ethno-village – town of Trogir)
Start the day by exploring the medieval Klis Fortress, which was once used to defend the city of Split against attack from the Mongols and Ottoman Empire. From the top of the ancient fortress you can enjoy impressive views and observe the real-life filming locations of some of the scenes featured in hit TV series Game of Thrones. We continue our tour to an ‘ethno-village’ located just outside the city. Sample the local delicacies and authentic foods on offer and enjoy a friendly welcome. Spend the final part of the day exploring the magnificent UNESCO-protected, preserved town of Trogir.
Day 8 – HVAR (Transfer to Hvar – private guided walking tour of old town – fortress)
Known as the St. Tropez of the Adriatic, Hvar Island is the hip and happening resort that effortlessly lures in famous celebrities, rock stars and royalty every holiday season. After arriving in Hvar harbour, transfer to your hotel. Join our private guided walking tour and discover the charms of the island’s Hvar Old Town. Admire the ancient stone walls, stunning architecture, and the lush shady palm trees that line the waterfront promenade. The evening is yours to enjoy as you please. The romantic town boasts breathtaking scenic views from the top of Fortica Fortress, fabulous traditional cuisine, and vibrant nightlife.
Day 9 – HVAR (Boat cruise to Pakleni Islands)
Hvar Island is best enjoyed from the tranquility of the crystal-clear waters. Hop aboard a speedboat for an island-hopping excursion through the untouched and beautiful Pakleni Islands. Surrounded by glistening sea, lie back and relax and watch the beautiful islands pass you by. If you love to observe wildlife and nature in its unique habitat, there are many interesting natural sites to see off Hvar Island’s southwest coast. Hidden beaches and secluded deserted lagoons are studded along the stunning landscape of the 20 islets that make up the Pakleni Islands, that are situated within easy reach of Hvar Town.
Day 10 – DUBROVNIK (Catamaran to Dubrovnik – private guided tour of old town – cable car)
A romantic trip to Croatia wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’, otherwise known as Dubrovnik. Check out of the hotel in Hvar and catch the catamaran to the city. Join our afternoon private tour of the Old Town and discover its history. Visit the filming locations of the hit TV series Game of Thrones. A ride in the cable car to Srdj Mountain is a highlight of the tour. The exhilarating journey reaches one of the highest points in the city, from where you can enjoy panoramic views of Dubrovnik and the Elaphite Islands.
Day 11 – DUBROVNIK (Day trip to Montenegro)
The city of Kotor and Kotor Bay in Montenegro are today’s destinations. Kotor boasts impressive UNESCO-listed 12th and 14th century sites that were built by the Romans and early Christians. Walk along the 4 km stretch of medieval city walls and hike to the top of the Fortress of Saint Ivan, to enjoy a scenic picture and understanding of the importance of the ancient historic monument. The uninhabited Kotor Bay offers an idyllic spot that is ideal for relaxing, swimming and sunbathing. Encircling the peaceful retreat are lush fjords and craggy mountains, with towns and villages dotted around the bay.
Day 12 – DUBROVNIK (Morning at leisure – private guided sunset sea kayaking adventure)
Enjoy a morning relaxing in a café in the city or shopping for souvenirs to take back home. In the afternoon, join our private guided sunset sea kayaking excursion. Departing from Pile Harbour, the tour takes you along the ancient fortified walls of the city and around to Betina Beach on the island of Murter. The location is perfect for snorkelling or swimming. From the unique perspective of the water’s edge, admire the stunning beauty of the natural scenery before paddling back to the city for a spectacular sunset experience, overlooking the water and the magnificent historic sights of Dubrovnik.
