Day 1 – Split

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Split is the Dalmatia region’s primary city and the starting point of your Croatia escape. Join our private guided tour of the wonderfully preserved Old Town and iconic Diocletian’s Palace. The ancient Palace is a labyrinth of cavernous rooms that offers great exploration and photo opportunities. Ascend St Domnius Church’s bell tower and admire the 360-degree views over Split and the surrounding islands. Visit the Royal Court of Peristyle and marvel at the treasured artefacts brought to the Palace from far and wide. The Riva promenade is the perfect place for an evening stroll.

Day 2 – Split

Start the day with a relaxing and pampering spa treatment at your hotel’s wellness centre. Situated just outside of the city, Klis Fortress is the first destination on today’s private guided tour. The ancient medieval fortress was built as a defence against attack from the Mongols and the Ottoman Empire and offers spectacular views over the city. More recently, the fortress has been used as a filming location for the hit TV show Game of Thrones. Before visiting the charming island-town of Trogir to sample delicious traditional Dalmatian cuisine, explore the nearby ethno-village and enjoy an authentic Croatian life experience.

Day 3 – Hvar

The jet-set holiday island of Hvar, and its magnificent Hvar Town, provides ample sightseeing opportunities and recreational options today. Affectionately known as the ‘island of sunshine’, cosmopolitan Hvar boasts quirky streets, charming hidden cafes and restaurants, and a lively nightlife scene. On our private guided excursion learn about the island’s rich history and explore the ancient medieval theatre and the Fortica Fortress. The fortress is perfectly perched above the heart of the town, affording superb panoramic views of the island. Take a stroll through the town’s quaint streets and admire the distinctive and eclectic mix of architecture styles on show.

Day 4 – Hvar

Bask in the beauty of the Adriatic coastline, en route to visit the famous Blue Cave (or Blue Grotto). The unique, natural phenomenon is only accessible by boat, and offers a breathtaking light show, weather permitting. Explore the nearby Stiniva cove, Green Cave and Monk Seal Cave, and take full advantage of the excellent swimming, snorkelling and cliff jumping opportunities. The sleepy town of Komiža is an idyllic destination after enjoying water-based fun. Take your seat in a local restaurant and dine on delicious freshly caught seafood. On your return to Hvar, enjoy free time to do as you please.

Day 5 – Hvar

Day 6 – Korcula

On arrival in the delightful fortified town of Korčula, explore the second most populous Croatian island at your leisure. The birthplace of the famous world explorer Marco Polo boasts an ingenious fishbone pattern layout of winding narrow streets, designed to provide shelter from the wind in the winter, and to increase air circulation in the summer. Take a walk along the impressive promenade on the most popular south Dalmatian destination, and enjoy stunning views of the Pelješac Peninsula’s vineyards. The vineyards are the perfect location in which to enjoy a romantic evening meal and a glass of locally made wine.

Day 7 – Korcula

Relax and kick back on a boat ride to sun kissed Badija Island, in the Skoji archipelago. The unpopulated island is situated a short distance from Korčula and features beautiful beaches and tame crystalline waters. Enjoy a refreshing and invigorating swim or lie back and top up your tan. For lunch, savour the taste of freshly caught oysters and a glass of Korčula’s local wine. If you prefer, you can discover the secrets of Korčula Island on an exploration of its landmark attractions. Day 8 – Dubrovnik

Today we arrive at our final destination via catamaran from Hvar. The magical city of Dubrovnik is encircled by massive stone walls that hide its many treasures. Join our private guided tour of the historic Old Town and enjoy a glimpse into the fantasy world of the hit TV show Game of Thrones, which was filmed at various locations in the city. Having survived the war of the 90s, the Old Town remains perfectly preserved and is best viewed from the lofty heights of Srd Mountain. Day 9 – Dubrovnik

Croatia’s up and coming neighbouring country of Montenegro is our exciting excursion location today. The beautiful Balkan country flaunts charming medieval villages surrounded by majestic craggy mountains, and a narrow stretch of beaches situated along the Adriatic coastline. Built between the 12th and 14th centuries, the UNESCO-listed site of Kotor city is protected by imposing ancient stone walls that can be easily circumnavigated on foot. The gorgeous Bay of Kotor is dotted with fortified towns and churches and shaded by a lush fjord. Explore the beaches at your own pace and soak up the atmosphere and the spectacular waterfront scenery.

Day 10 – Dubrovnik

Start the morning with a pampering spa treatment at your hotel and enjoy the day at your leisure. The Old Town of Dubrovnik features a plethora of entertainment options for you to explore. Venture deeper into its galleries and museums, and shop for last minute souvenirs to take back home. You can also escape to the nature reserve of Lokrum Island.
