Begin your vacation in the picturesque seaside town of Rovinj, situated on the west coast of Istria. Admire the colourful facades and explore its gastronomy. Spend a day at Plitvice Lakes National Park and take the scenic route via train or electric boat, to admire the 16 inter-linked lakes and cascading waterfalls. Visit the renowned BIBICh winery for a unique wine-tasting experience, before arriving in Split, the capital of Dalmatia region and home to the iconic Diocletian’s Palace. Observe the eclectic mix of Roman, medieval and contemporary architecture, and hike to the summit of Marjan Hill for panoramic view of the city. Klis fortress is an ancient attraction that was recently used as a film set for the hit TV show Game of Thrones. Continue towards the UNESCO-listed island-town of Trogir, and the cosmopolitan island of Hvar. Your final destination is the magnificent city of Dubrovnik and the Pelješac Peninsula.

Day 1 – Rovinj  (Day of leisure in Rovinj)

On arrival in the medieval island-town of Rovinj you can explore at your leisure. Wander through the quaint cobbled streets of the headland and admire the eye-pleasingly colourful facades of the buildings, and the lofty steeple of the church of St Euphemia that dominates the skyline. As you begin to familiarise yourself with the town, you will start to fall in love with it. Explore the scenic Lone Bay and the beautiful pebble beaches where you can relax and soak up the sunshine and atmosphere. The charming fishing port boasts many inviting eateries where you can sample traditional Istrian cuisine.

Day 2 – Rovinj (Spa treatment in hotel – explore old town – visit nearby islands)

Start the morning with a relaxing spa treatment at your hotel’s wellness centre. The rest of the day is yours to explore at leisure. Visit Rovinj’s historic landmark attractions of the Gate of Benedict, the Portica and the Gate of the Holy Cross, as well as the Venetian Baroque Church of St Euphemia. Meander through the narrow streets that are tightly packed with houses and head for the magnificent seafront. Day 3 – Plitvice (Transfer to National Park – waterfalls & lakes)

Today we depart Rovinj and head to one of Croatia’s most beautiful natural attractions. The UNESCO-protected Plitvice Lakes National Park is made up of 16 inter-linked terraced lakes and impressive waterfalls. As you wander at leisure through the lush landscape, spot an abundance of native flora and fauna. Navigate your way through the park via its wooden bridges and pathways that allow you to get up close to the cascading waterfalls. Hop aboard the electric boat and sail out onto the still waters or enjoy a ride on the train that takes you on a tour of the extraordinary landscape.

Day 4 – Split (Private transfer to Split – visit wineries – private guided tour of Split)

Upon leaving Plitvice we head to the ancient city of Split. Along the way enjoy a unique wine tasting experience at the renowned Bibich Winery. Once in Split, join our private guided tour of the Old Town and Diocletian’s Palace. The former retirement home of the Roman Emperor is the best-preserved Roman palace in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Royal Court of Peristyle and climb to the top of the St Domnius church bell tower for sweeping views of the city. Enjoy the evening strolling along the Riva promenade and sampling the local cuisine.

Trogir, Croatia

Day 5 – Split (Spa treatments – private guided tour to Klis, nearby ethno-village, Trogir)

Rise and shine and enjoy a luxury spa treatment at your hotel’s wellness centre. The medieval fortress of Klis is our first private guided tour destination. Klis was built as a defence against attack from the Mongols and the Ottoman Empire. Recently, the historic attraction has found new fame by featuring in the hit TV show Game of Thrones. Continue to a nearby ethno-village to sample some of the traditional delicacies that have been produced in local villages for centuries. Situated in a prime site on the central Adriatic coast, the UNESCO-listed island-town of Trogir is our final stop.

Day 6 – Hvar (Transfer to Hvar – private guided tour of town)

Hvar is locally known as the ‘Island of Sunshine’ and has earned itself something of a jet-set reputation. The peaceful turquoise waters, sun bleached white buildings and stunning medieval architecture may be responsible for the large number of visitors that the island attracts. Join our private guided tour and learn about Hvar Town’s unique history and secrets. Walk along the winding cobbled streets and visit the medieval theatre and the Fortica fortress. From the top of the fortress you can enjoy breathtaking views of the island and its surroundings. The picturesque town also has a vibrant nightlife and party scene.

Day 7 – Hvar (Day at leisure – Visit Vis Island & Pakleni Islands)

Enjoy the day at your leisure. Relax in your hotel or make plans to explore Hvar Island and its intriguing surrounding sights. A visit to the famous Blue Cave is not to be missed if you want to see a magical illumination. Neighbouring Vis and the Pakleni Islands are idyllic escape options that give you an opportunity to explore mysterious abandoned villages. Day 8 – Dubrovnik (Transfer by catamaran to Dubrovnik – private guided tour of old town – cable car)

The iconic city of Dubrovnik is our final destination. Ride the catamaran from Hvar and arrive in the magnificent city in style. Join our private guided tour around the beautifully preserved Old Town and get a glimpse of some of the filming locations featured in the hit TV show Game of Thrones. Hop aboard the cable car and ride to the top of Srd Mountain. From the panoramic station you can enjoy spectacular vistas of the city’s ancient walls and fortifications, and the nearby Elaphite Islands archipelago. This is also the perfect spot to enjoy cocktails and an unforgettable sunset.

Day 9 – Dubrovnik (Private full day tour of Pejesac Peninsula – wineries)

Today we escape the hustle and bustle of the city and head out to the picturesque Pelješac Peninsula. Relax and take in the magnificent views of the beautiful countryside. Our private full-day guided tour includes a unique tasting experience. Visit three of the region’s finest wineries and learn about the history of wine making in Croatia. You will also have the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious red and white wines. Freshly caught oysters are also on today’s tempting tasting menu. End the day with a 3-course late gourmet lunch at the Dingač vineyard and before returning to Dubrovnik.

Day 10 – Dubrovnik (Spa treatment – explore the old town – visit  Lokrum island – half day Bosnia tour)

Enjoy a final spa treatment in the comfort of your hotel’s wellness centre before a taking leisurely stroll along the famous old city walls. Seek out the hidden treasures that the Old Town has to offer. Alternatively, visit the stunning nature reserve on the wonderful island of Lokrum.
