MV Avangard Overview
The Avangard is a 49m (161 ft) long, 8.8 m (28 ft) wide deluxe ship, with a cruising speed of nine nautical miles per hour. It features the latest state-of-the-art equipment and amenities. It has a maximum capacity of 36 passengers in 18 twin or double cabins, ensuring exceptional personal service. The ship’s main deck features a spacious air-conditioned dining room with bar area which features an LCD TV, a corner buffet breakfast table and an outdoor covered lounge area.
The ship features 18 modern air-conditioned cabins with 10 main deck cabins and 8 lower deck cabins measuring approximately 13 to 15 sq meters. All cabins are fully equipped and include a safe deposit box, fire alarm, emergency lights and internal communication for announcements by the cruise director or captain. In addition, each cabin has life jackets, desk and tabouret, wardrobe, night stand, small sofa and a window (main) or port hole (lower deck). The bathrooms on board are fitted with a toilet, shower, washbasin and hair dryer.
Facilities & Public Areas
The ship offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space for guests to enjoy, with a spacious restaurant and bar area on the main deck with LCD TV, accompanied by a covered outdoor lounge area with sofas. The upper deck is perfect for sunbathing with plenty of sun-loungers for all passengers, a shaded area and an onboard Jacuzzi. If you wish to swim, there is a platform at the back of the ship with additional ladder access to enter the water. A further two outdoor showers and two deck lavatories are also available.
Guests will enjoy delicious meals on the Avangard, which consists of a delicious daily buffet breakfast, 6 set lunches with 3 courses, complimentary fresh fruit and 1.5 litres of bottled water per passenger daily. This cruise also includes 3 evening meals on board. Dining on board the Avangard is in a relaxed and informal setting, with no formal dress code necessary. The onboard bar offers a selection of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks which are available to purchase.
