Having grown up on the Island of Sicily, I was introduced to Croatia over a decade ago and I immediately fell in love. Like Sicily its adorned with spectacular coastline, charming Old Towns and warm and welcoming locals at every turn.

    Split, Croatia

Our driver will meet you upon arrival at Split International Airport or your hotel in Split for a private transfer to the harbor. It’s just a short drive away, with embarkation from 1 p.m. on. Enjoy a fascinating look at what’s within the walls of Split’s historic center. Join our local guide after breakfast for a walk through the labyrinth of streets and alleyways, much of which is covered by Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace which includes some of the most well-preserved Roman monuments and buildings in the world. You’ll also notice influences by the Greeks and Venetians. Return to the ship for a Welcome Dinner onboard.

    Day 2 Split & Trogir

    Trogir, Croatia

We set sail whilst guests are enjoying breakfast towards the beautiful Old Town of Trogir. Before our arrival though it’s time for your first swim stop of this trip in a quiet secluded bay. You will enjoy lunch on board before arriving in Trogir and docking directly in the town’s picturesque harbor. Enjoy the afternoon exploring this wonderful UNESCO-listed town which is often compared to Venice with its medieval streets, magnificently preserved castle, and beautiful marina.

    • Meals Included Breakfast and Lunch

    Day 3 Hvar

    Hvar, Croatia

Continuing to Hvar, known for its frequent sunny skies and lively nightlife, it’s a favorite island on any Croatia itinerary. Another highlight will be enjoyed along the way: a swim off the shores of Zlatni Rat Beach on Brac Island. One of the most beautiful in all of Europe, it swirls out nearly a third of a mile into a dreamy turquoise sea, surrounded by water on three sides. If you prefer to stay dry, you can explore the town of Bol nearby. Once we reach Hvar, you’ll take a wine-tasting tour at a highly sought-after family-run winery in the small town of Jelsa.

    • Excursions Included Wine tasting at a popular family-run winery on Hvar
    • Meals Included Breakfast and Lunch

    Day 4 Vis

    Pakleni

Our journey continues to Vis, known for its tranquility and seclusion as the furthest from the Croatian mainland. Some say it’s the “Mediterranean as it once was,” wonderfully unspoiled by tourism thanks to being closed off to visitors while used as a strategic military base for 40 years. We’ll sail through the Pakleni Islands first, with their stunning crystal-clear, secluded bays perfect for an extended swim stop. You’ll have time to take advantage of the snorkeling equipment or the water toys on board too. Arriving at Vis in the mid-afternoon, you’ll have the rest of the day at your leisure. It’s worth the climb to Fort George which offers jaw-dropping views over the island while being a great place for sundowner cocktails.

    • Meals Included Breakfast and Lunch

Day 5 Blue Cave & Korcula

    Blue Cave, Bisevo

We’ll leave Vis early this morning to make a stop at Bisevo Island, home to one of the most popular attractions in Croatia, the Blue Cave. Provided conditions are right, you’ll be able to hop into a small boat that’s able to get through the narrow entrance to experience an incredible phenomenon of Mother Nature with the interior illuminated in a brilliant blue glow. Sailing on to Korcula, perhaps best known as the birthplace of international explorer Marco Polo, upon arrival you’ll meet our guide at the Old Town gate. Enjoy a walking tour through the streets of this storybook-like place laid out in the shape of a fishbone. You’ll notice the many Venetian influences throughout, including the winged lions on St. Mark’s Cathedral.

    • Excursions Included Guided tour of Korcula / Guided tour of the Blue Cave (entrance fee payable locally)
    • Meals Included Breakfast and Lunch

    Day 6 Mljet National Park & Slano/Ston

    Mljet aerial

Mljet Island is our next destination. One of the greenest in Croatia, we’ll anchor near Mljet National Park so that you can explore the famous saltwater lakes on your own. Great Lake is home to a tiny islet topped by a 12th-century Benedictine monastery and there are small beaches ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the water that ranges in shades from turquoise to deep emerald. From here we head to the mainland for a visit to the traditional fishing village of Slano, famous for its oysters. You’ll enjoy a tasting of fresh oysters and mussels at an oyster farm after a walk around the medieval ramparts. This evening, the Captain’s dinner with live music and entertainment will be hosted on board.

    • Excursions Included Fresh oyster and mussel tasting experience at a Ston oyster farm
    • Meals Included Breakfast, Lunch and Captain's Dinner

    Day 7 Dubrovnik

    Dubrovnik old town

We’ll make our way to Dubrovnik early this morning but before our arrival, the captain will cruise around the massive medieval stone walls, providing an incredible view of the famous historic center from the water. Once on land, you’ll meet up with our local guide for a walking tour through the limestone-paved streets lined with many Gothic- and Renaissance-style buildings like Rector’s Palace. Afterward, you’ll have time on your own to explore. One of the best views can be enjoyed with a walk atop the walls that encircle the Old City, with the sea and nearby islands on one side and the red-tiled rooftops on the other. Afterward, perhaps enjoy a gourmet dinner with a sunset view in one of the many rooftop eateries.

    • Excursions Included Guided tour of Dubrovnik
    • Meals Included Breakfast and Lunch

    Day 8 Departure

    Dubrovnik City Walls, Croatia

After seven memorable nights, you’ll enjoy one final breakfast on the ship to fuel up for your onward journey. Before meeting your driver for a private transfer to Dubrovnik’s airport or your local hotel, you’ll have time for farewells to fellow passengers and new friends made. The captain and crew will be there to assist with baggage at disembarkation.
